DJ Rishabh is glad that people’s opinions towards his profession are changing in India. Otherwise, he affirms, earlier DJing was not counted as a good carrier option, rather it was just a thing of passion.
“Of course, it took time for us to grow as artists, and for audiences to embrace DJs as they are artists too. If you know the scene, you may know that right now, there are endless opportunities to work as a DJ in India. I received my due recognition in 2017 with the “Why This Kolaveri Di Remix”, this timeless party buster is one of my earliest collaborations with Sony Music India. Things have only changed for the better since then. Earlier, Bollywood had a variety of categories, including director, producer, actor, actress, and choreographers, but DJing was not one of them.” He reveals himself.
