DJ Schülze

Martin Gebauer aka DJ Schülze was born in Germany. At the age of 14 he became familiar with electronic music and got his first inspirations from Depeche Mode, who played a big role with industrial sounds.

At the age of 16, DJ Schülze played at local “basement parties” in old buildings and bunkers with friends.

Related to working reasons, Schülze was initially forced to take a break for DJing but he
found further inspiration in the big techno cities like Hamburg (Front, Tunnel), Frankfurt (Omen, Dorian Gray) and Berlin (Tresor, E-Werk). The fascination about music production was awakened and Schülze had his first experiences with producing techno on the computer and simple DAW's.

Everything happened extremely quick and Techno was fully developed in Germany and respected as a serious genre.

Today, in addition to DJing, DJ Schülze is absolutely addicted with producing electronic music. He produces his tracks with Ableton Live 11, Push 2, Korg Opsix, Serum and the Diva VST.

DJ Schülze is releasing different tracks on various online stores in different genres, sometimes Deep House, Tech-House or his favorite genre: the Techno.

His years of experience in electronic music and his intense feelings about techno are reflected in his sets and music.
