Born Ennocent, Mxolisi, Mfiso Mngomezulu on (10 May 1999) known professionally by his stage DJ THE MXO is a South African record producer ,Vocalist & DJ, who in the past years has made a name for himself within the Amapiano landscape. Born in Winterveldt , Pretoria , DJ THE MXO has always imagined himself to be the next big thing in music.
After a few years of attempting to hone his production skills, a friend of his introduced him to YouTube, where he began creating online tutorials. As a result of his introduction of the MXO Sample Pack series, which has received over two million downloads worldwide, he is recognized as one of the pioneers of Amapiano. He enrolled in Boston Media House College for sound engineering course in 2023.
He began working with Snow Deep in late 2021 after experiencing some years of hardship in the music business. Their first song together was called "empini," with Murumba pitch. In the same year that he collaborated with Tboy Daflame, the executive producer of Sho Madjozi, Bassie, Focalistic, Sino Msolo, 25k, MJ, Mpho Sebina, Clement Maosa, and numerous more artists. His highly anticipated single "Tamati 2.0" featuring 25k and Snow Deep was released in late 2022. Later, he released "Why le jola?" featuring EZ Maestro and Don Edward, which went on to become one of his most well-known songs .
