DJ Themi

Themi’s professional career started at the age of 15 when his mixing skills as a local house party DJ began to create a buzz, and the young aspiring DJ soon found his considerable skills in great demand. At 17, he decided to try his hand at writing some original melodies and lyrics and realized that it was not enough - he also wanted to be able to create and produce the backing music to complete his compositions, so he picked up a keyboard and taught himself how to play by ear.

Some of Themi's career highlights include his collaborations with many notable producers and record labels in the Pop & Dance music genre, including Chris “The Greek” Panaghi. Themi's collaboration with Chris landed him a spot on the compilation, “Working The Mix” on Universal Records. Themi has worked with the award-winning "Klubjumpers" & continues to collaborate with 5 time Grammy award winner Devine Evans, who has worked with Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Pharrell Williams & many more. Themi has worked with writing partner Amber Dirks & BMI Platinum Award winner R.K. Jackson who co-wrote and produced the hit song "Finally" with CC Penniston & many more.

Recently DJ Themi was part of a team of composers who produced the music for the documentary titled "Legacy Lives On" which aired on TV One. Themi worked with his good friend Devine Evans, a 5 time Grammy Award-winning Producer/engineer. Themi received his first IMBD composer credit and the documentary and the entire team won the Gold Telly Award.
