DJ Waliz

Yo yo yo Spotify, I’m DJ Waliz. I make EDM, mostly instrumental stuff, but I mess around with nightcore sometimes too. I grew up in a small town where there wasn’t much to do except listen to music and play video games. My parents always had records around, and I got hooked on the sounds of old trance and game soundtracks. Something about the energy just stuck with me.

I started messing with production on a crappy old computer when I was a teen. No lessons, just hours of trial and error learning how to layer sounds, make drops hit, and get that feeling when a track finally worked. I DJed at small local events, uploaded tracks online, and slowly started getting people to listen.

Now my stuff is all about energy big drops, fast builds, melodies that stick. Nightcore collabs are just me having fun, speeding things up, seeing how far I can push a sound. It’s raw, it’s loud, it’s honest. Music has always been my way of escaping and connecting at the same time, and I just want to keep making tracks that make people feel something.
