Djeepz Is A HipHop Artist Born in SaoVicente Cabo Verde that moved to Rotterdam, The Netherlands in 1987. Around the era 92/93 when HipHop was booming in the US, Djeepz came in contact with this type of Music wich would influcence him for the rest of his Life…

With YOMTVraps, as one of the few HipHop sources in the Netherlands, Djeepz and other close CapeVerdian friends became interested in the HipHop Culture and started their own rap group in the early 90s.

Around this time rap already had hit The Cape Verde Islands, and Djeepz became influenced by rap artist such as Ice Company, and Niggaz Sem Vida….

Djeepz started his own rap groups such as C.W.P and Confuzao with childhood friend Beef. Confuzao would later be the opening show for Eddy Fortes (Moda Grog) wich would turn out to be the most successfull CV-HipHop Artist at that time.

Djeepz continued to be the backup for Eddy Fortes( Moda Grog), and toured around Europe in countries such as Italy, France, Belgium, Luxemburg . and an other rapper called Billyusuf, also a capeverdian rapper that raps in Dutch. With Billyusuf Djeepz toured trough out the whole Netherlands and gained experience in the Music World by watching and learning. By always being around in Quartel Studios based in Rotterdam, Djeepz got insprired by recording his solo album with his long time HipHop friend Producer Dhem A Rush and beatmaker ja-x, his long awaited album has now become reality titled Son City.
