DJENGUE, hailing from Cameroon, embodies a rich tapestry of musical influences that have
shaped her eclectic sound. Raised in France from a young age, she immersed herself in
Makossa, soul, funk, and more, guided by musician parents. At 12-13, she discovered Hip-hop and more African music genres, further broadening her sonic palette. With roots in Gospel and a multicultural upbringing, this young artit’s music reflects a profound understanding of
human emotions and experiences.
From singing in the showers to captivating audiences at family gatherings, her journey as a vocalist began early. After relocating to Belgium at 20, she embraced collaborations with fellow musicians before embarking on her solo career. Driven by a desire to share love and inspire healing through music, she released her debut single 'I Trust You' on July 1, 2021, followed by Ardour EP, resonating with listeners worldwide and amassing over 36,252

Following her debut, DJENGUE's musical journey took a new turn as she caught the attention
of music contest organizations (Les Ardentes and Court-Circuit) who swiftly recognized her
raw talent and potential. This led to perform on stages like Reflektor, captivating audiences
with her soulful voice. She is now eager to expand her live presence, and set sights on more
stages and festivals, aiming to share her music with larger audiences.
As DJENGUE continues her career, sharing her Art and improving her craft is what she’s longing for.
