Behind the piano, he’s unstoppable. At 20 years old, his dream is to become a world-class music producer and DJ.
Born in Canada into an artistic family, Jessy was inspired early on by his brother, a drummer and guitarist, his godmother, singer <a href="spotify:artist:66sLbGyYM9SeCN6NmkR9Je" data-name="Ysabel Laforest">Ysabel Laforest</a> , and his grandfather, a pianist and guitarist. Music has always been his passion.
Djess began producing at 12, sparked by a chance meeting with dLWilliam (<a href="spotify:artist:2sniYFqcTQc1njZDkTYCTO" data-name="Snortit">Snortit</a>) on Twitch. Introduced him to FL Studio and music production fundamentals, he quickly took off on his own, shaping his unique sound from that early inspiration. Then he discovered his passion for Tropical house and Pop music.
In 2022, Jessy began his studies in Sound Technology at Collège d’Alma, where he spent three years honing his craft. During this time, he explored various facets of audio production, including video game sound design, film post-production, live event production, and music recording. He was mentored by industry professionals with credits ranging from platinum-selling albums to work with Ubisoft, Netflix, and world tours for artists like Beyoncé and Rammstein. These formative years played a key role in shaping his artistic and technical vision.
