D.Mo is a Toronto-based artist whose sounds encompass UK garage, house, and breaks. Originally from Vancouver, D.Mo combines his West Coast upbringing with the sounds of UK dance music to create a unique blend of lush synths and substantial sub-lines.
The past two years have seen D.Mo solidify his own musical direction with his “Ripple Effect” EP on Howitzer Records, numerous floor-filling remixes, and a slew of independent releases. This includes the single “Smoke and Mirrors”, which was previously showcased on Bass Coast’s “12 Days of Bass Coast” compilation album. D.Mo’s sonic palette seamlessly shifts between ethereal, airy moments, and hefty low end groove. This style has brought him across Canada performing at many festivals and clubs including Bass Coast, Samsara, and Neon Jungle.
