DMoss

DMoss, the EDM alias of Derek Moss, is a DJ/producer from NYC known for his genre-spanning sets and innovative use of live guitar during performances. After nearly a decade in rock bands, DMoss returned to DJing during New York's post-pandemic dance music boom with a renewed passion. He mainly plays house and tech house but also explores UK garage, techno, and drum n bass.

In August 2024, DMoss released Rendezvous (feat. Julia Hallasen) under Actuation Music, a collaboration with Amero and Hallasen featuring Julia Hallasen on vocals. The track landed on Spotify's New Music Friday Iceland playlist. That same month, he dropped Ay Papi, a garage and bass-inspired track with Yakobie Slade, showcasing his versatility.

Influenced by Fred again.., John Summit, Dom Dolla, and Sammy Virji, DMoss offers a diverse blend of sounds. His viral mashups have also garnered millions of streams and are played by DJs worldwide.

To support NYC's dance music scene, DMoss co-founded Boogaloo Presents, a promotion company curating unique events. Headlining the sold-out debut event in April 2023, DMoss helped establish Boogaloo Presents as a staple of NYC nightlife.

Regularly performing in NYC and internationally, DMoss's open-format style ensures each set is fresh and thrilling. With more releases on the way, DMoss continues to captivate fans with his innovative approach and infectious energy.
