Born in Atlanta and raised between East Point and College Park, on the Southside of Atlanta Georgia, Doc knew he wanted to pursue music early on. He gained inspiration from the movie “Juice” and begin spinning as a young man. Doc has always wanted to take his music to a larger audience. Doc’s progressions lead him to pick up the microphone while spinning on the turntables is what sets Doc apart from the other artist.
He formed a group called @285 that released their album Lyrical Traffic. Featuring tracks with @GoodieMob. The album helped to land touring opportunities. Sync opportunities Doc Wily was selected to have two featured verses in the movie "Guilty by Association" with Morgan Freeman. His verses came from @285’s songs "Cornbread" and "It Ain't Where You From". This fueled Doc’s fire to start his solo career. After the group’s time had run its course he ventured off to pursue his solo project. Fresh out the Lab
