DOCKYARD hail from Medway. Born from a melting point of influences, the group consists of Frazer Callaghan (Guitar and vocals) and Avy Ashok (Drums). Their sound provokes an eclectic combination of 70s punk, raw blues and soul-influenced psychedelia, inspired by the stories of daily life in the Medway towns, a 'dirty, filthy, paradise' in South East England.
A large majority of their songs are written from the perspectives of strange characters set amidst the fictional universe of TYPHAS, created by Frazer as a young teenager.
After playing their debut show at Margate's Where Else? venue, the groups fast-paced and infectious live energy led to their second show selling out, with the younger generation wanting a glimpse of the new and exciting DOCKYARD.
