I began my passion for music as a child and was privileged enough to have a family member that was very innovative ingenuous and driven that let me literally stand over his shoulder and be all in his business
- watching him evolve from the artist to the business changed my whole perception of the music business and disapated my desire to be an artist -
about 6 years ago it bothered me that there was such a limited selection of cats to listen to that related and lived the life I live
therefore linking up with them
was what I viewed as the best way for me to get the best... of the music I wanted in my whip on my long ass cross country drives that had been so essential in me getting mine -
bottom line
my biggest reason for making music was so that I had what I wanted to hear in my ear and my game ears
I didn't want to bubble and be a rapper
I had no desire for any of the music industry stuff at all
my life was/is better in my eyes
- and if you know... then you know -
but after participating in it I know that unless I'm ready to completely submit to it that I truly shouldn't do it - so over the last year I haven't been active and I haven't been rappin
but now....
