The Classic Rock Magazine describes Dogma’s music as: “Aggressive riffs, ethnic vibes and psychedelic soundscapes all wrapped up with stunning delicate female vocals”.

Ian Anderson from Jethro Tull says: "The best musical metal band this side of Mars. Amazing bass player. Brilliant vocals. Searing guitar. Thundering neutron drums. This band features instruments which are weapons of mass destruction.... Oh, to be so young."

Dogma is one of the most unique and popular bands of the Armenian rock music, founded in 2008 in Yerevan by guitarist Heno Grigoryan and bassist Vardan Grigoryan, members of the already disbanded legendary in Transcaucasia MDP band (1994-2007).

Dogma's music is a unique combination of ethnic-folk musical thinking, heavy instrumental accompaniment of metal and unexpected solutions of progressive rock, capable of enfolding  the audience and transferring the listener through a powerful mountainous landscape to a serene apricot garden in the blazing sun.

Current band members are – Vardan Grigoryan, bassist, band producer, Heno Grigoryan, guitarist and composer, Zara Gevorgyan, vocalist and lyricist, Gor Avetisyan,  drummer.

The band has released three albums: “Ethnic-Methnic” 2008, “Under Dogma” 2013 and “Na Ne” 2016.
