First name Chatham Lamar Coxton born in Charlotte NC Out a small town Shelby NC where he came from an adopted family he started writing music as he was hustling in the streets now in Atlanta GA he come to tell his story and take his rap career to another level as he has his own unique flow and sound and looks to stay independent to keep complete control of his art and ownership. Dolla grew up in a small town where he was adopted by his grandparents who at the time is all he knew for a long time… his mommy was struggling with an addiction and in and out of prison his dad was doing his own thing in the streets. As his late grandmother pass in 2009 he learned at lot from his grandfather who he taught him a lot especially when it comes to working and getting everything you want in your name and own it.As his grandfather gotten older Dolla went out into the streets as he learn about Gangs,Drugs,etc.He was in and out of jail with 3 felons where he got when he was probation facing gang charges he eventually got behind him 2017-18.He started writing music at a young age didn’t start to take it serious until the age of 25 where he meet his late friend skrewface another very known rapper from Shelby NC at his day job at the time who introduce him back into the rap game starting at a backyard studio in Gaffney SC ran by herb who is featured in on his single My Woahs who was his very first engineer out of Newport new VA but own by a man name lil Gaffney
