<a href="spotify:artist:1pg7JPHR8NcpQaEln3KcFA" data-name="Dom Clark Trio">Dom Clark Trio</a> are an ever-expanding mod and jazz/funk outfit based in East London and drawn from all over the world. Their last single “Dubaway”, a collaboration with Jamaican reggae star <a href="spotify:artist:3ZmVSri8ck6XpdAEpk8RPl" data-name="Rassi Hardknocks">Rassi Hardknocks</a>, was featured by Tom Robinson and came off the back of their debut album “Music from the Mustard Seed”. No longer just a three, the band is completed by Hackney local Conor Cotterill on bass, Venezuelan Enmanuel Moreno on drums and Colombian guitarist Andres Miranda.
Originally from Lancashire, multi-instrumentalist <a href="spotify:artist:5NF16YtRMBxGKlqdo5NbqI" data-name="Dom Clark">Dom Clark</a> started out with The Panda Gang (aka TheBDI’s) who were championed by legendary Blues & Soul writer Dave Godin and released a series of successful albums in Japan. More recently Dom has been working as a solo artist and with the Trio, and started his own studio the Mustard Seed recording some of the cream of the UK jazz scene such as Bel Cobain. He is also a member of 6 Music and Glastonbury regulars Cable Street Collective playing trumpet, and half of disco house production duo <a href="spotify:artist:0x1QMGUsw2Y49hVSYfYyTi" data-name="Discoda">Discoda</a> with Rick Lloyd of New Atlantic fame.
The latest single, Not My King, is Dom’s most political song to date and is an anti-monarchy response to the Coronation supporting the #notmyking hashtag and Republic campaign.
