Domenico Rubino is a European musician, originally born in France of Sicilian parents. His musical career began in the 80's, when with the band NERO, he got his first record deal with ARIOLA for the song : "A E I O U".
Rubino has worked in different genres, from Italo Dance, World Music, Rock and Folk to Pop Ballads. He has played in several bands, including "Rubini" with his twin brother Lillo Rubino. With "Rubini" he released several successful songs, including the song: "Povere Donne"(EUROSTAR).
In 2010 Rubino started his solo project "Destinazione Sud", a musical journey through Italy, made together with his producer Lothar Krell (Tokyo). "Destinazione Sud" is his most personal production, reflecting his love for Italian culture and showing his musical versatility.
In 2015 Rubino started his dance project
"Nick de Palma" with the successful dance songs: "SERENATA" and „STAMMI VICINO (2022)“
The project was a success and took him in a new musical direction.
In 2023, Rubino entered new territory and wrote his first film score. For the successful French film production "Arrivederci Paris" (by Louis Salvatore Bellanti) he created a soundtrack that perfectly reflects the emotions of the film.
