When she moved to the city and into her tiny Toronto apartment last year, Dominique had high hopes and knew her comfort would rest in the music.
As she blended modern singer-songwriter elements with an early 2000s nostalgia, Dominique offered a breath of fresh air in the current pop music landscape; It wasn’t long before she found a place to stay and soon after the people she could share that space with.
The artist says of her first project, ‘Sprig’ : i feel like this group of songs represent the first steps of growing into my sound. Sprig is also the nickname my Mom has called me since I was a kid, so it felt like the perfect title for a beginning. 'Sprig' is out now and i’m so so excited for you to hear this record. :)
