The new single from Dominique Young Unique, “Clap For That” is the second collaboration of a trilogy with producer DJ Chose, the Houston DJ & producer who has scored hits with rap stars like Megan Thee Stallion, Kevin Gates, Kodak Black, A Boogie with the Hoodie & Trey Songz.
True to her name, Dominique Young Unique, the Tampa Bay rapper, has a style and sound of her own: rapid-fire rhymes delivered with attitude over up-tempo, ground-shaking club beats made to get you moving. Her ability to flow between Hip Hop, EDM, club beats and pop, and her fascination for music keeps her chasing the right sounds for her art, never allowing genre barriers to curtail her inspiration.
She first leapt to prominence when she joined forces with DJ Fresh and Diplo to feature on the UK Top 5 hit single “Earthquake” and followed that with a Top 20 collaboration with Le Youth, “Dance With Me”. Her debut solo single “Throw It Down” is considered a classic of its genre and is heavily featured in a multitude of TV shows and movies including American Crime (ABC) and has appeared in many movie trailers. Dominique’s other notable feature releases include collaborations with Don Diablo (“Drifter”), Bang La Decks (“Utopia”) and the recent number one Russian radio single “Love & Lover” by Rudenko.
