Domy-R was born in Benevento on April 10, 1971. From a young age, he developed a passion for music, starting his journey with piano studies.
Towards the end of the 1980s, Domy-R took his first steps into the world of electronic and dance music, collaborating with various local radio stations. During the summer seasons, he supported resident DJs in some of the most renowned summer nightclubs in Apulia. It was during this time that he discovered his true calling: making people dance and have fun. These were the years of House Music, characterized by fervent musical experimentation and the birth of great ideas.
Always present at all local music events and festivals of those years, Domy-R stood out for his musical selection ranging from house to techno, with progressive and trance nuances.
At the end of the 1990s, he decided to take a break from the music scene, but his passion for music remained alive and constant.
After a long period of absence, Domy-R made his return, this time also approaching the world of music production. He managed to combine his initial love for the piano with his passion for electronic music. Among his most notable productions is the remix of “Funkytown” by Lipps Inc., an iconic band of 1980s electronic disco music.
Today, Domy-R loves experimenting by mixing genres ranging from progressive and melodic house to indie and tech-house, from afro house to disco and funky house, always keeping his mission of making the audience dance and have fun alive.
