Comprising Dille Diedricsson (vocals), Peter Nordholm (guitar), Frederik Adlers (keyboards), Imre Daun (drums) and Henrik Thomsen (bass), Don Patrol formed in Sweden in 1990. The sound was immediately obvious - drawing heavily on the blues their composite hard rock style drew comparisons with artists such as Foreigner, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Free, Bad Company and Grand Funk Railroad. In the studio the group have consistently eschewed studio polish in favour of spontaneous, uninhibited performances. The best example of this was their 1990 self-titled debut, which received widespread recognition and airplay. A more complex record, 1992’s A Wire, A Deal And The Devil was a clear developement of their sound.
