Born in Austin, Texas and now based in Atlanta, Georgia, Don Rello has been crafting music for over a decade. He blends introspection, raw lyricism, and Southern-rooted storytelling into every verse. He found his passion in the studio while working on his debut album I Don’t Watch TV alongside artists who once inspired him as a fan—WHATUPRG, Scum Jones, and Patrick Zae.
Heavily influenced early on by Eminem, and later shaped by the stylings of UGK, OutKast, and Freddie Gibbs, his sound fuses lyrical depth with grounded honesty. Whether he’s unpacking internal struggles, confronting deeper issues, or navigating the chaos of everyday life, Don Rello’s music serves as both therapy and testimony.
With a hands-on approach to mixing and mastering, he brings his vision to life from the ground up. He often weaves intricate rhyme schemes and reflective narratives that take listeners beneath the surface. His standout projects Still Don’t and Spiraling Conundrum capture the range and evolution of his artistry.
A recent performance at Patrick Zae’s “High Notes on Krog” marked a return to the stage. With his sixth major project on the way, along with new music videos and merch, he’s stepping into a new chapter. For Don Rello, success isn’t just numbers. It’s giving a voice to those who feel misunderstood, and reminding them they aren’t alone.
