Doppelgänger

Alen Đokić, known as Doppelgänger, was born in Rome in 2000, from Bosnian parents, survivors of the war in Yugoslavia. Enter the world of music in November 2020, becoming popular on TikTok and gaining a large audience in just a few months both in the Balkans and in Italy. The themes of the lyrics tell, in particular, about his country of origin and the bond with his own roots, which have always influenced his life, all transposed in a Hip Hop key. In December 2021 he collaborates with the well-known Bosnian rapper Frenkie, one of the first pillars of hip hop in post-Yugoslavian countries, releasing the single “Mic Check”. In April 2022 he published "Alen", a song that tells the artist's story, touching on personal themes such as family, love, friendship and distance from his country of origin (Bosnia and Herzegovina). The track (especially through TikTok, receiving millions of views in several videos) achieved enormous success, increasing the artist's following, thus managing to expand his name in the Italian rap scene. Noticed by the acclaimed Albanian-Kosovar singer, Dafina Zeqiri, he collaborates for a project together with his label. With the series of tracks “BLKN BLD” (I, II, III and IV) and the EP “BALKAN REPRESENT”, he increases his rise in the scene, not only Italian but European, conquering listeners in Germany, Austria and overseas. The artist is particularly developed and positioned on TikTok, with a following of over 1M followers.
