Swiss-born and Dutch-raised, producer and tastemaker DOT5 (pronounced "Dots") has always been driven by a desire to create something truly unique & timeless. As a child, his earliest inspiration came from funk and disco icons like James Brown and Prince, laying the foundation for a deep connection to music. Over the years, this passion has evolved into a mission to craft a sound that feels both personal and universal.

With the release of his Couleurs EP, DOT5 ventures into the emotional dance music landscape, creating tracks that embody a wide range of feelings and experiences.

Having spent a considerable amount of time in London, DOT5 has drawn fresh inspiration from the city’s electrifying nightlife and rich musical heritage. Artists like Fred again, Interplanetary Criminal, and Joy Orbison have deeply influenced his creative approach, pushing him to explore new dimensions of sound. Now, inspired by the legacy of UK rave and club culture, DOT5 is channeling these experiences into his debut album. This project aims to celebrate the pulsating energy, collective euphoria, and timeless rhythms of UK nightlife, reimagined through his unique multicultural lens.
