This one man record label, DoubleOh is a Los Angeles Native, who’s producing, recording, and hustling on his own terms.
He gets his inspirations from rappers like Lil Wayne, Ludacris, Tupac, Jay-Z and producers like DJ Mustard, Timbaland, and Dr. Dre.
He started out rapping on beats from YouTube but soon realized this was not a good long-term plan. After understanding the business side he started producing & slowly building a sound to propel his lyrics further.
After overcoming the roadblocks along the way he learned lessons every independent musician should know. He took the time to study the areas he lacked in like creating hooks, distributing, publishing, and marketing. He’s putting down the building blocks and foundation for a successful music career while embracing the term independent. He’s switching hats from creative to executive marketer who’s always looking for ways to innovate a path through this maze of a music industry. He hopes to inspire other creatives to devise a path of their own.
