In 1981 I was hired at Opryland USA to sing in the Country Music USA show. After meeting some fantastic people like Roy Acuff, Barbara Mandrell, Don Williams, Larry Gatlin, and many others I fell in love with country music and the people that make it so great. I started singing and writing country music on my own right away. Soon after that I was hired as the lead singer for the Cumberland boys, Opryland’s gospel quartet. This was during the days of the Statler Brothers and the Oak Ridge boys being super popular. I continue to write and record still today. I’ve always loved great stories and country music tells them the very best. I hope you’ll enjoy my music because I love writing and performing. Thanks so much for listening!
