Doug Oliver is a Canadian musician and songwriter, best known for his work with the bands My Darkest Days and Cold Creek County. Born and raised in Ontario, Doug began playing drums at a young age and quickly developed a passion for music.
In 2005, Doug co-founded the band My Darkest Days, which gained international recognition with their hit single "Porn Star Dancing" released in 2010. With the success of the song, the band went on to tour extensively, opening for acts such as Nickelback and Three Days Grace.
After My Darkest Days went on hiatus in 2013, Doug joined forces with his longtime friend and fellow musician, Brandon Scott, to form the country music group Cold Creek County. The band quickly gained a following after signing with SONY MUSIC and they released their debut single, "Our Town," which reached the top ten on Canadian country music charts.
Over the years, Doug has established himself as a talented songwriter, with his work featured on multiple albums by both My Darkest Days and Cold Creek County, Three Days Grace and more.
Today, Doug continues to write and perform music as a solo artist, collaborating with other musicians and exploring new boundaries.
