The West African artist truly highlights music’s capacity as a means of escape and shows no signs of stopping anytime soon. She shows much power and resilience towards her craft as the extenuating circumstances of her childhood from being born a war child and going through a severe spinal injury and surgical procedure at an early age set the foundation for a life that seemingly had the odds stacked against her but despite this Dove has maintained a positive attitude to life and her music shows it in the best way.

Dove’s music combines elements of modern afrobeats with her own African heritage and aligns her sound with the afro fusion genre.

Diverse by nature and versatile in delivery, her music is as dynamic as you’d expect from someone who’s musical taste includes everything from Fela Kuti, Tiwa Savage, Etta James, Nina Simone, Yemi Alade, Lauren Hill, Adele and Angelique Kidjo.
Coming from the lens of a storyteller, Dove’s music radiates an unmistakable air of spirituality echoing her turbulent life experiences as music is the canvas from which she paints her truth.

Above all, experiences and emotions are what drives her to create.
