Down is Up was created during the 2020 Covid pandemic by Maxime Bouttier and Theo Meslin, two childhood friends from Bali, Indonesia. Being isolated at home and continents apart, these two friends decided to make music together by collaborating online. The band strives to explore different genres and musical ideas but also to use music as a way to bring people together.
