Downupright (they/them) is Bill Boulden from Buffalo, NY. After launching with video game remixes and high-energy EDM, they now focus on multi-genre concept albums with challenging frameworks. They are best known for 2024's "We're Doomed, We're Dancing: Sixty Apocalypses", with the impossible setup of 60 original tracks, each exactly 60 seconds long, across 60 distinct genres, and over 50 featured artists. 2024's "MANIC EPISODE!!" was a genre-blending, high-energy look into the scary delusions of a bipolar mind in frantic overdrive.
