Dr. Dana is a singer-songwriter, practicing physician, researcher, and award-winning medical educator who is deeply committed to healing and advocating through music and medicine. She is a board-certified, subspecialty-trained breast radiologist and lead vocalist for Moffitt Cancer Center’s house band, The ReMissions. Dr. Dana’s dynamic voice represents a combination of fearless expressiveness and skillful vocal control. She has been described as a “power-house” vocalist by John Seda, President of Rising Sun Music. As a songwriter, Dr. Dana has penned several original songs for The ReMissions about hope (Goodnight Is Not Goodbye), community (Hands), breast cancer screening (End The Confusion), and the need for continued research, funding, and awareness to find more effective treatments for metastatic cancer (Stage 4 Needs More).
