Cris aka. Dr.Hoffman is a music composer, performer, producer, remixer, sound engineer and psytrance artist from Mexico. He has been blasting the dance floors since the year 2001 sharing stage live with incredible legends such as Shpongle, Raja Ram, Talamasca, 1200 Micrograms, GMS, Soundaholix, Astrix, Hallucinogen, Zorba and many more.
In the year 2007 Dr.Hoffman joined Spun Records and visited the amazing Growling Mad Scientist's studio in Ibiza after being invited by the late Bansi the great master of psychedelic trance to work on the first of many collaborations. Since then Hoffman has worked and collaborated with other international artists such as Deedrah, Cyrus the Virus, Phony Orphants, Dr. Spook, Poli, System Brothers, Shanti, Blue Lunar Monkey among others. For over 20 years he has played everything in between secret underground raves to massive festivals in Brasil, Canada, Mexico, Germany, Netherlands, Austria, Portugal & Spain. In the year 2013 Hoffman together with Cyrus the Virus release together 9 progressive trance collaborations on the epic Scandinavian record label Iboga Records.
Growing up in the 80s Cris fell in love with all the music from the now classic films, TV shows, cartoons and video games. His passion turned into a new career path in the year 2014 when he decided to pursue a degree in film scoring, orchestration and composition. Cris graduated magna cum laude in Music Composition for Film, TV and Video Games from Berklee College of Music.
