Born to parents owning the music retailer in a New England college town, Chris studied choral and liturgical music in the local academic scene, soon shipping off to organ study with John Rose. Later enrolling in the prestigious USC scoring program in Hollywood, Chris obtained a staff position at Universal and ended up writing the long-running NBC Chime used since the mid-1990's.
