Dr Thulz is one of South Africa’s most talented and versatile musicians. A gifted multi-instrumentalist and producer, he’s played a huge role in creating some of the country’s biggest hits. Over the years, he’s worked with top-tier artists like Prince Kaybee, De Mthuda, DBN Gogo, Vusi Nova, Nomfundo Moh, Msaki, Zanda Zakuza, TNS, Sino Msolo, Lady Zamar, Sam Deep, Kwiish SA, Sir Trill, and Kabza De Small, to name just a few.

With more than a decade of experience, Dr Thulz has done it all—he even has three jazz albums under his belt where he handled everything from composing to mixing and mastering. But now, he’s all about dance music.

“I’ve learned that listeners want some consistency in sound, and as much as I love being versatile, I’ve chosen to focus on dance music,” says Dr Thulz. “Dance music changes lives. It gives people a break from the world’s chaos, and when it’s paired with messages of hope, it does more than just entertain—it inspires. That’s what I’m here for.”
