Draadhond is an Afrikaans-language alternative rock duo playing predominantly heavy guitar-rock with strong lyrical content. The band is made up of singer-songwriter, Anton Barnard, and multi-instrumentalist, SC Pienaar. The two met in 1996 while at university in Port Elizabeth. Initially performing around campus under the name of Plan B, the duo recorded their first album "Nalatenskap van die Gras" in 2005. The band name Draadhond was adopted in 2017. Their second album "Was Jou Bek Uit Met Seep" was released in 2018. Their new EP “Vooruitstrewend” is out now!
