Drama B is a Bronx-born artist whose journey began on July 7, 2009, launching Phantom Recordss on YouTube. What started with rap contests and cyphers quickly grew through original songs and remixes, eventually merging with his official channel. After graduating from Touro College in 2012, he interned at Lounge Studios under Walter Randall, Mikaelin “Blue” BlueSpruce, and J Soundz, learning mixing, songwriting, and the craft of hit-making.
From filming $100 music videos to engineering at DatGas Music, Drama B’s grind led to major milestones: winning DeStorm’s Watch Me contest in 2013 (Vibe Magazine feature), releasing a Warner-backed single with soccer star Nikolai Alho in 2014, and having music played at the 2016 Olympics. His collaborations span Tribal Trap, Ultra Music, Spinnin’ Records, Blanco y Negro, and more — with placements in Netflix’s ELITE, On My Block, Outer Banks, CBS’s BULL, GoPro campaigns, and even NBA and MLS arenas.
June 12, 2017 brought his biggest release yet: No Glory with Skan, Krale, and M.I.M.E., amassing over half a billion streams. Labels like FitLeague have embraced his self-produced work, leading to 10M+ streams on his own productions.
To Drama B, music is limitless. He rejects the idea of being boxed into a single genre, believing every artist should explore freely. He is the genre — a living example that you can’t box him in.
