Active from 2002 to 2013, Draugr were one of the leading bands of the Italian folk metal scene, alongside Folkstone and Furor Gallico . The band was the only one among the three to have a strong black metal and symphonic component, in addition to epic elements. Their second and final album, 'De Ferro Italico' , is considered a seminal work for the emergence of many bands inspired by the Italic Hordish Metal genre, as the band itself used to define it.
