Drawing Mazes

2005-2023: Journaling with melodies. Quietly releasing music through the years until 2023 when the moment arrived where I felt my basic setup was ready for a bigger sound. 'First of May' was about my mom and had a clarity and emotion not previously expressed - I bought a new guitar, keyboard, mic, and got it professionally mixed/mastered and debuted the project Drawing Mazes.

Hi, I'm Chris Pusinelli, singer-songwriter/producer of Drawing Mazes. For those that discovered my music through 'First of May' may have noticed how mellow and more introspective the songs that followed it have become. This was not the plan. I have released three EPs since then - the EP that celebrates the indie pop bands I love ('Living with Friction'), the EP that dials it way down and explores the lonely solo journey (S/T EP), and the EP that throws some ideas on the stove and tries to make pancakes from them ('Sunday Morning Pancakes'). I don't know where the journey will go next - thanks for being a part of the ride...
