Drax Nelson, (real name Paul Norris) hails from South Yorkshire, UK and has been a dedicated purveyor of tough electronic music since his teens.
Heavily influenced by late 90’s and early 00’s House, Techno, Hard House and anything in between, He has clocked up over 150 releases under various guises over the last 15 years. Releasing on some of the most iconic UK Hard House labels including Tidy Trax, Tripoli Trax, Tinrib, Vicious Circle to name a few, along with his own imprint Slingshot Recordings.
Recently he has turned his production hand to the slower BPM’s under new moniker, ‘Drax Nelson’. Delivering a brand of High Octane House & Techno specifically designed with the dance floor in mind.
With recent support from the likes of Gorgon City, Hannah Laing, Viviana Casanova and Sarah Story on Radio 1. Already notching up a number of releases on various labels including Toolroom, Tidy Trax, Untidy, Vassnova, & Low Ceiling to name a few, with plenty more on the horizon, Drax doesn’t plan to let up anytime soon.
