While growing up Drè Stylez was influenced by music at a young age. His musical roots goes back to his grandfather who began his own church and was a preacher. His Grandmother was the lead of the choir and his father was the minister of music. My parents are saw potential and enrolled him in Grant Elementary School of the Arts where he learned rhe basics of music, dance and visual arts. He was introduced to a great variety of music, but his favorites are hip hop and R&B. Drè Stylez was influenced by artist such as Ludacris, Busta Rhymes, Talib Kweli, LL cool J and Boyz II Men. He was introduced to the Intel Computer Club House which was a non-profit organization ran by Dr. Luversa Sullivan. Within the 2 years he was with Dr. Luversa thought him the basics of studi engineering and video production. After his time with Dr. Luversa he was introduced to the Dash Center of the Arts Which is also a nonprofit organisation rain by Candi Hall. As a part of Dash Center he was a member of the dance team for a short time, Then became a member Off their hip hop history in writing class called "A-Ohh" (Art of hip hop) This class Was Ran by Dareren Spencer also known as "Scooter" In that class he learned more about the hip hop music industry. Through that class and Dash Center he was performing shows through the years, and with the help of Candi and scooter he was a part of an annual event called "Hip Hop In the Park" 3 years in a row.
