Born and raised in Los Angeles, music and performance has always been part of Drea's life. For most of her adolescence, she was either singing in her school's choir or taking classes at her neighborhood dance studio. By always surrounding herself with music, she gained a deep appreciation and skill for songwriting. She honed her craft at Columbia College Chicago where she majored in Music and minored in Music Business and Live Performance Management. Songwriting has become Drea's deepest form of self-expression and her lyrics are often blunt and straight forward reflections of her own personal turmoil and experiences. She hopes she portrays a relatable lens on life for those who take a listen.
