Dream Substance

Born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma Sylvia Dream was always inspired by several different art forms growing up. Forced to listen to <a href="spotify:artist:22bE4uQ6baNwSHPVcDxLCe" data-name="The Rolling Stones">The Rolling Stones</a> up until high school she lusted over their style and punk rock attitude. Later finding female artists such as <a href="spotify:artist:6ZK2nrW8aCTg8Bid7I7N10" data-name="Chelsea Wolfe">Chelsea Wolfe</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:4vI0xGbQl2cMnMiagUEBOj" data-name="Courtney Love">Courtney Love</a> gave her the push to write music of her own.
Finally settling with singing in 2017, at the age of 17 she started Dream Substance, alone in her bedroom. Uploading singles to Soundcloud ranging from harsh noise to screaming to get all her anger out.
In 2020 she recruited 2 likeminded artists from Oklahoma, jamming for 2 years straight via voice recorder on iPhone 11. Through the demos Sylvia got the idea for her Debut album &#34;Revenge Is On The Mind&#34;. Blending noise with punk she teamed up with Jake Rene from Austin to turn her dreams into reality, and the rest is history.
