UK dance outfit Dreamhouse (Paul Barry, David Riley, and Jules Tulley) met each other while 2 of the 3 members were working odd jobs - - as bartenders and bus washers. Native Jamaican Riley was a remixer (who had already worked with such notables as R. Kelly and Fu Schnickens), and met the other 2 while working in a London recording studio. The trio became a full-fledged band after they tried an impromptu take of the classic Maurice Williams' pop hit "Stay," which was later released as a single. On the strength of their cover, the new band was signed to Trauma Records, who released their self-titled debut in July of '98. ~ Greg Prato, Rovi
