PAUL HEADON, aka DREAMSCAPIST, is a Cinematic / Ambient / Meditation and Deep Space musician from Australia who composes, records, and performs in his own evocative style of music he refers to as “Dreamscapes”. He has been working in these genres for over thirty years.
In the past Paul has taught music and has released 2 CD's,”The Middle Distance” (2001) and “Equanimity” (2011).
He was also a Public Radio broadcaster for 10 years with his own Ambient program, Sirius FM Music (106.9 Vox FM).
Since 2011 his music for Meditation has been evolving on his YouTube site, "paulsdreamscapes" with more than 380 videos that can be viewed. His music is available on Bandcamp "dreamscapist.bandcamp.com"
He has worked extensively with YouTube meditation guru, Jason Stephenson and has composed music for the local Nan Tien Buddhist Temple, having these song performed in Taiwan and Malaysia. Paul has also performed his calming music at this beautiful temple, as well as at the Brahma Kumaris Meditation Centre in Wilton.
He has worked with Life- Affirmation coach Virginie Esprit on a project called “Illuminations” (2018-2020), composed backing music for Buddhist chants ((2021) as well as collaborating with Shane Beck - The Last American Poet (2022), European Electronic composer, Frederic Kuyl (No Lake), Tetsuroh Konishi, Omar Fadel Hadi, Billy Denk, Robert Forbes, Brett Caldwell and Jason Miller aka Film Score Project.
