After meeting online over their mutual admiration of <a href="spotify:artist:6ZK2nrW8aCTg8Bid7I7N10" data-name="Chelsea Wolfe">Chelsea Wolfe</a>, singers/songwriters Elicia "Lici" Hopkins and Marco Alvarado formed <a href="spotify:artist:35C5XSFOGMiHoBQmG82pJH" data-name="Dreary Eyes">Dreary Eyes</a> in January of 2019. Since then, they have released their most listened to single to date entitled "Blood Love" in August of 2019 and have released four tracks in 2020, most recently being "Flutter". Their sound is derived from the various forms of rock, metal, doom, shoegaze, and gothic music that shaped them individually as songwriters and musicians. Eclecticism is the corner stone of their musical philosophy and it can be heard in every word sung and every chord strummed.
