Dred Furst

Consisting of 5 men, ~24 guitars, and 8 nipples, Dred Furst is a high energy group of stupid little guys playing their silly little songs. With pop punk and emo influences, Dred Furst strives to bring the fun to every show they play!

The band was formed in 2019 after bassist Tom posted a picture of his brand new bass on the popular social media platform Facebook. After a few comments on the post he, and singer Sam decided it was time to put together the band they had been dreaming about while working together for years. Adam joined the group as lead guitar after finding their listing on Craigslist! After countless lineup changes, they finally found their super cool drummer Carter at Pick N Save.

After playing primarily Green Day and Blink 182 inspired pop punk for a few years under the name Falling Flat, the band decided they wanted to go a different route for their future sound. Taking inspiration from My Chemical Romance, The Used, Modern Baseball, Movements and other emo adjacent bands, the band decided they needed a new name and a new sound on vocals to capture the essence they were seeking. Bryant came to them in a dream (it was actually an email) and the rest is history! They switched things around, landing Sam as the new bassist, and Tom moving to rhythm guitar. They then renamed the band Dred Furst. The 5 of them are currently working on an all new style of music. More to come!
