Gëzim Ferizi (DRGSFER-257) was born in 1978 in Ixelles, Belgium, into an Albanian family with roots in Kosovo. In 1983, he returned to his father’s birthplace, where he was confronted with a harsh reality from an early age. His life began under challenging circumstances—his father and older brother were arrested by the Yugoslav police. Amid hardship, poverty, and injustice, his resilience and determination remained unbreakable; surrender was never an option.

In 2001, he married Arlinda G., marking the beginning of a lifelong partnership that became an important pillar of strength and stability throughout his personal and artistic journey.

Shaped by profound life experiences, including the period of the Kosovo War and 15 years of service in Afghanistan as a freedom fighter within international missions, he carries a powerful personal history that resonates through every verse.

Music has been his passion since 1995. Each song represents an authentic narrative—life, love, peace, and war—translated into art with positive and motivational messages. As an Albanian hip-hop/rap artist, DRGSFER-257 is recognized for blending modern styles with elements of Albanian culture. Actively engaged in the music scene, he has released both solo projects and successful collaborations across major music platforms.
