His full government name is De'Ajay R Garvin and his alias comes from taking the initials from His full name and adding ''thaDoc'' to create more individuality towards his rap name. He started becoming more interested in music at age 15 perfecting his craft and started uploading songs to his YouTube account from his Grandmother's Basement in Norcross Atlanta, Georgia. Later on he then went to pursue his dreams further by officially realizing his first track called L.I.A.B.
