Driss

Artistic. Bold. Diligent. North-West London rapper, songwriter & vocalist Driss first discovered his love for writing music at the tender age of 7 when his older cousin taught him how to write poems, which he later adapted into raps. Influenced by his background, environment and lifestyle, Driss gives us a mixture of rap-oriented, RnB and Afroswing vibes that display his versatility and talent. The rapper is also part of the DLGNT collective. A group which he formed consisting of himself as the artist and afew of his closest friends. Social media had it’s first glimpse of Driss in 2018 when his ‘MEN ARE TRASH’ FREESTYLE went viral. Having caught the eye of several producers and listeners we saw Driss follow up with a sequence of freestyle videos, which he used to grow his audience.

The end of 2019 saw Driss feature on TIM WESTWOOD’S ‘CRIB SESSIONS’ alongside fellow acts JB SCOFIELD and REX & BEANO, teasing their song KEEP MY MUNI which was released in January 2020 and kicked off what Driss describes as his 'Debut Season' in the music industry. He also released INTRO, BADBOY, VACATION and was aired on CAPITAL XTRA for the first time.
