Driving Indoors is a hip-hop collaboration made up of Kwame Adu and Frank IV (pronounced “Frank the Fourth”).
Kwame and Frank spent most of their lives in New Jersey and Pittsburgh, respectively, until they met while attending boarding school in Central Pennsylvania. The two’s shared love of clever wordplay and anime brought them together and heavily influences their music and aesthetic.
Driving Indoors’ dynamic resembles legendary MC pairings such as OutKast, A Tribe Called Quest — and even Gucci Mane and OJ da Juiceman on occasion.
The independent duo, now based in Los Angeles, just released their EP, Driving Indoors Vol.2, produced solely by jazz instrumentalist (and de facto third member) DanSully.
